Working with Children

New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care, Level 3

Our Working with Children programme gives you an introduction to the knowledge and skills involved in educating and caring for infants, toddlers and children in New Zealand. We will provide you with essential knowledge and practical skills to work within a variety of early childhood settings.

To further enhance the skills and knowledge gained throughout the programme, students are required to undertake work placement in an approved early childhood centre. This experience allows students to put theory into practice in a real setting, enhancing a student's ability to achieve a successful outcome.
